SAN FRANCISCO (July 26, 2021) – Red Oxygen, a leading short message service (SMS) solutions provider, today announces it has updated its Gmail SMS solution through Google Marketplace. The new features were implemented to provide improved customer experience and ease-of-use for Red Oxygen’s texting solution.
New features include an updated, more user-friendly interface, the ability to send messages to specific groups or mailing lists without saving each phone number as a contact, saved signature templates and the ability to send a message with or without previewing first.
“Texting is already the simplest method of quick communication, but we are constantly working toward streamlining and improving the process even more,” said Tom Sheahan, CEO and co-founder of Red Oxygen. “We are proud to offer product updates in response to direct customer feedback. These updates should quicken the process of sending messages, while allowing for more organization and uniformity for companies looking to send to specific groups over time.”
The new template feature will allow users to draft then save multiple signatures or body text to be used multiple times without having to re-draft the same content. The enhanced options for adding recipients now allow sending to mailing lists that have been created by labeling contacts into groups, and adding— one at a time or by copying and pasting—numbers of recipients that aren’t in your contacts list. Finally, the preview feature has now become optional, eliminating a step for those who are confident in their messages and want to get them out the door sooner.
Feature updates are now reflected in Red Oxygen’s Gmail SMS Solution.
